Honda Recommends Repair of Unibody Vehicles

Co-maker of Acura RSX performance parts, American Honda Motor Co, Inc. has issued four recommendations for repair of Honda and Acura unibody vehicles.

The first recommendation is on Sectioning Frame Components. It states that when body repairs are necessary, Honda recommends that by using the Honda or Acura body repair manual, any repairs will be performed by an experienced professional. Furthermore, component replacement will be accomplished along factory connection. The company further added that failure to do so can result in a number of problems that include improperly fitted parts, noises, tire wear, and most importantly, changes in vehicle dynamics and occupant protection in a sequential crash. read more »
